The Farm House is situated near the Kleinberg River.
Perfect for an active group, ready for a weekend filled with fun, or a family who loves and enjoys nature at its best.

It consists of a venue that sleeps 26 guests in total in dorm rooms with bunk beds.
There is a big open plan living/entertainment area where guests can relax on the comfy couches, cook up a feast in our amazing kitchen or tackle each other in a game of pool and darts. There is a hot tub that can be used warm or cold to cool off in the heat.

This property is perfect for a group of friends or families.
The lodge sleeps max 26 guests 3 in dorm rooms with bunk beds.
Room 1: 5 bunks (sleeping 10 pax)
Room 2: 4 bunks (sleeping 8 pax)
Room 3: 4 bunks (sleeping 8 pax)

There is also an inside and outside braai – We are South African after all.

Activities
Enduro: We have 3 loops (roughly 20 km each) for you to get revved up, with options for beginners and challenging enough for experienced riders, free for overnight guests, R150 per bike for day visitors .

Fishing – catch and release: There are 2 dams for your enjoyment that contain small- mouth bass. Guests to bring all of their own fishing gear and bait, free for guests, day visitors R100pp

Hiking: There are no official hiking trails but guests are free to walk and hike on the property.

Clay pigeon shooting: Takes place on shooting range on Ruigtevlei, min 6 pax , R200 pp for 10 shots . 2 weeks lead time is needed for this activity.
Swimming: The dam can be used for swimming as well as non-motorised water sports.
Our Kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, there is a large fridge and deep freeze (run on gas), gas stove, microwave, toaster and kettle as well as all cutlery and crockery needed for a group of up to 26.
We have an indoor and outdoor braai area, grids and tongs are supplied.
The outside space boasts a Fire-pit, wood fuelled hot tub and awesome views for guests to enjoy.
There is an indoor shower and bathtub that are warmed by fire – these are lit by Jonas, the caretaker at 08h00 and 18h00 and water remains warm for 2 hours, alternatively there is also an outdoor shower that is run on gas.
Generator hours are from 18h00 to 23h00 each evening, should you wish to extend or adjust these hours this can be arranged on arrival with the caretaker on site. Additional generator hours are charged at R150 per hour.
Please note NO amplifiers, ice machines, electric kettles, hair dryers or ice machines to be brought on site , these appliances burn the solar power system out.
Meals – Working up an appetite
This Property is self-catering .
A Spitbraai can be arranged by a trusted service provider (Lamb is standard but other options can be arranged)
Groups of 10 – 14 R 255 per person
Groups of 15 and up R230 per person
Spit includes:
500grams Raw meat bone in per person
Curry pasta salad
Green salad
Pearl onions and potatoes
Garlic bread
(vegetarian, vegan and special dietary requirements can be catered for – additional costs may be incurred)

Rates 2021:
R4950 per night for 12 persons (Max 26 guests)
R280 per person per night thereafter
R500 refundable breakage deposit (Lodge only)
Pet Friendly: R100 Pet levy per dog per stay
1 Night stays booked will be charged extra

Check in is 2pm-6pm and check out is 10 am, early check in or late check-out can be arranged if done so prior to arrival.
